This week I have been moved into the baby room. which is different from what I expected. before I was hanging out with 4 to 5-year-olds and with the babies, it’s definitely more of a challenge. For example, today when we had a nap time, I usually have to pat their back for more than an hour and then sit with them until they can fall asleep in contrast to the 4 to 5 year olds. You only have to sit with them for like three minutes and then they fall asleep. starting the day I woke up and drove there around 8:30 and I get there at 9 o’clock. When I get in I meet with Tina which she’s in charge of everything mostly and she tells me what my week is going to look like and if I have any questions and where I can help and where I’m most needed for the day. Today I had to switch rooms a lot just cause multiple teacher. called in sick and they’re also very low on teachers, but the baby room is mainly where I was which was mostly helping them walk and playing outside and feeding them milk and helping them fall asleep.
