THE STAFF OF POWER

One day, I found a huge stick in my front yard. I then wondered what I could make out of the stick. Then, my mom realized that it was a good size for a walking stick. I replied with “I think it is too big to be a walking stick”. The next day, my teacher suggested that it could be a staff. I happily agreed because it would make an amazing staff. After that, I suggested setting a fancy rock in the staff.

THE PROCESS

The first thing that I did was saw off the knobs on the stick to make it have a straighter look. Then I took off the bark from one section of the stick. After that, I started to sand it down so that it would be thinner and smoother. Then to finish off that section of the stick, I used a small torch to burn the surface of the section and waxed the section afterwards.
